King, Tom (w), David Finch (a), Clay Mann (a), Seth Mann (a), Danny Miki (a). while Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo took over the main title, so it’s possible something similar will happen this time, although that is purely speculation at this point. TUPykPFTRe- Mitch Gerads The last time there was a changing of the Bat-guard at DC, Grant Morrison exited Batman but continued telling his story in Batman Inc. I know things about a thing and it all means even better things. You all rock.- Tom King Mitch Gerads, an artist who has worked with King on Batman and the critically acclaimed Mister Miracle mini-series, sent out a pair of tweets saying, “I know things about a thing and it all means even better things," and "Jumping to conclusions." which seem to be commenting on King's situation. Thank you all.” which presumably was his way of thanking fans for their support after hearing of his premature exit from Batman. King’s only response since the news broke was a short post on Twitter reading, “So many kind notes. In the issue, readers got to see Batman attempt to stop a plane from crashing. Issue 1 did not disappoint but it set a new bar for how fans looked at Batman and his motivations as a hero. ![]() 26 Images Last week Batman #71 kicked off the first part of “The Fall and the Fallen” which was planned to lead into “City of Bane.” King will presumably exit the title after the conclusion of “City of Bane.” The source said King is still working hard to make "City of Bane" his biggest Batman story yet.
